The only thing I could fault here was the service and the waitress just seemed young, inexperienced and aloof. The food was amazing (and I hate barbeque). The ribs were fall off the bone tender without being mush and just the right amount of natural smoke. The sauce wasn't great, but that's one of my least favorite things about barbeque so I'll leave it alone it's different for everyone. The signs inside the place we're cute and sparked debate at the table. The other, more frequent clientele, struck up a conversation and everyone seemed very polite and friendly (which was also the overall feeling I got from the entire city of Selma, not sure if this is considered Selma, but that's the closes...
This is a must stop whenever I'm in, Selma, Alabama. The ribs are dam GOOD, mouth watering. They have a great staff and the owner will come out and ask you how everything is going. This is a great family restaurant. If You want dinner You better get there early cuz it always has a nice crowd.
I have been there a few.times and the bbq ribs are good (love the sauce)...never tried any of the sides. The staff is friendly and they are quick to get your order ready.
Hands down the absolute best BBQ in the south. It's worth the 160 mile round trip we make almost every Saturday to eat there! Wonderful people there also!
