Over the past 8 years, I have been lucky to be a “friendship family” for teachers who come to Kent State for a semester. Teachers are among the brightest and best from their countries and are selected according to a strict application and interview process. I have brought teachers from Jordan, Lebanon, Ecuador, Indonesia, Kenya, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Uganda, Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, Senegal, Tanzania, Mexico, Ghana and Morocco to Handel for a treat... they love him!
