I visited this place to see family and was not prepared for the cold weather, especially since I'm from California. The chilly climate felt really strange to me, but I was craving some ice cream. A relative suggested Handel's, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice—super tasty and creamy! I ordered a banana sundae, and they gave me a huge portion. I tried my best to finish it all, and now that it's the next day, I find myself wishing I had more. The girl who took my order was not only beautiful but also kind; she even gave my little nephew an extra cup of ice cream. I just wish there was a place like this in LA!
Handel is reminiscent of a small-town ice cream shop you remember from 30 years ago, but it’s still a delight to enjoy today! I absolutely loved it. I ordered the Oree-Dough-Milkshake, and it certainly did not disappoint!
Very friendly staff, excellent homemade ice cream. My Oreo Hurricane (flurry/blizzard) was excellent, and was generous with the cookie prices, the small was a filling portion as well.
Probably the best ice cream chain around the Mahoning Valley. Love the grape ice cream. Katie's Corner is a close second. Book a table now
