Handmade is some of the BEST food in Hillsdale County. Their sandwiches are fresh and absolutely delicious. They have a plethora of unique sides that pair wonderfully! I personally recommend trying out the zucchini fries ?They have a lot of seating options and a beautiful view of St. Joes river. The environment is modern and bright.The primary drawback is parking. There are only 3 lots outside of the store designated for the restaurant. The food was delicious and the ambience was pleasant. The Colombian —really good; coffee mayo was surprisingly pleasant, mild, probably my favorite part. I might do light mayo next time. Pickles added a nice brightness contrast/complement to lighten. I also enjoyed jalapeños on the side, but not everyone likes those. The caramelized onions are So. Worthwhile. Yes. Some people have sad, limp, soggy, boring onions BUT NOT HERE. The Double BA — good, bacon, my opinion not as good as Columbian, but my dad liked his BA just as much as my Colombian. Southern corn chowder was good and creamy without being too heavy. The mild spicy bite was nice but not overpowering.
You would think anyone could make a sandwich and you may be right. What sets Handmade apart is the bread and the sauces that add a really great taste. The named sandwiches are made with a great combination of flavors that is really enhanced by the fresh bread and sauces.My wife and I tried the Handie Sandie and we were not disappointed at all. We plan to come back to try them all.The seating area had great atmosphere and the fountain drinks were a great selection of pop you rarely see.Great place, great sandwiches.
I went to visit my restaurant in Hillsdale this past Thursday and our manager ordered subs from here let me tell you that the food was absolutely amazing! I'd give you six stars if that was an option. Keep up the great work. I had an Elvis without peanut butter substitute mayo. Yummers!

Nice. Fresh. Many options. Create your own sandwich or choose from many selections by the owner. With grilled onions. Can choose up to 5 vegetables. Grilled or not. Cheese curds. The right price for fresh. Will return.
We tried three different sandwiches. All were excellent with great taste. Even the pimple was stellar. We did it, but the dune had a great atmosphere. I'd take it over Panera every day.

Incredibly delicious food, we have the Herb’n Bourbon as Sub and the mobile Sandy as Wrap. Really, really nice interior with a super cool view of the brook.
