Five of us went to Hang Out on a hot summer night, booking in advance. The restaurant was fully open to Preston Street around which a number of tables were occupied, but oddly we were shown to a table in the far corner at the back. Within a few moments of sitting we were asked for proof of vaccinations, and then offered menus and water. Surprisingly my water was luke warm. When I questioned this, I was told it was tap water. But surely no-one offers customers warm tap water in summer heat! Almost every coffee shop and cafe in this town provides cold water, often in a fridge to help yourself.
