I advise against spending your money at this establishment if you value respect for women. As an NYU student, I avoided this place for years because every time I walked by, there would be a group of men staring at me as if I were an object. Today, I went in out of necessity to buy a lighter and, after thanking the cashier, I walked away. He then commented on my looks in a condescending manner, a tone all too common among some men in New York. He proceeded to ask for both my friend's and my names, which felt intrusive and unsettling. If you're a woman seeking a safe and secure environment in the city, it’s best to steer clear of this place. It simply isn’t worth it.
I've been visiting this restaurant weekly because it's convenient for my work location. They serve good breakfast sandwiches and bacon. However, their prices are often inconsistent, and my orders are frequently incorrect. Additionally, many items in the market section are overpriced and often past their expiration dates.
I was charged more than I expected. I bought a pack of Marlboro cigarettes, a small regular water, and a small cranberry juice, and the total came to $21.70. I don't agree with the prices at this deli. Make sure to get a receipt, and always check the total before signing. They seem to be taking advantage of customers.
Open 24 hours. Not every deli has good coffee but this place is cheaper and better than Starbucks if you just want iced or hot coffee and not espresso drinks. Food offerings looked promising but haven't partaken yet.
