Simply the best snowball ever!!! Once you have a Hansen's you just don't want any other snowball as the Hansen's ice is the best thing ever!!! They make all their own flavors and focus on quality. I usually get one of the delicious tart flavors or coconut and actually there are a few of the regular flavors I'm actually not very fond of. If you want a completely different experience get one of their cream flavors and then the snowball takes on the characteristic of an ice cream cone that banged a snowball which then gave birth to the cream flavor snowball! The regular strawberry flavor here really doesn't taste good to me while the cream strawberry is awesome and has real chunks of strawberry...
Limited street parking available and lines form quickly, but definitely check this spot out! My partner and I got the Pineapple and Fruit Punch flavors. The pineapple tasted like real pineapple not artifical syrup. The fruit punch tasted heavily of passion fruit not my personal favorite but I still ate most of it. The pricing was really good, they offer a bunch of flavors and toppings, and even a commemorative plastic cup you can purchase for a little extra (prices in pics). I just wish the flavor signs were a bit clearer and easier to read, and you could view them all in one place.
Every once in awhile you go somewhere you've never been and you taste something truly quite special. The ice is shaved just like it were a soft snow, layered with the most delicious syrups that you can see are home made. It doesn't have ice chunks like other snowballs so you easily just savor it. Definitely a magical spot in NOLA.
You have to try them. Vert small family owned spot with some great snow cones and ice cream. The prices are very affordable. There was a very long line outside. They are very small inside but it was worth the wait. I will definitely go back when visiting NO. Book a table now
one of the legendary institutions of New Orleans Snowball stands. ice so soft, flavors on point, and all the toppings and options one might expect from one of the best. try the watermelon, it 's or of the fancy flavors and is made from real watermelon!
This is an old school sno-ball shop, and absolutely AMAZING! no matter what you get I promise you won't be disappointed, and they take cash or card, check them out.
Absolutely the worst snowball I've had in years! The nectar and cream is so watered down I could barely tell what flavor it was. Awful!
