My twin brother Stephen and I were walking around this area of this sun drenched resort when we decided to drop into the Ha'Penny Bridge ,a pub we always look forward to visiting on any holiday we take to Benalmádena . A great looking Irish pub ,the interior is superb ,main room dominated by a solid wood serving bar ,big screens to enjoy the sport ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in a good Irish pub ,sports shirts hanging from the ceiling and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's just a great pub to unwind in. We got bottles of Mahou green beer and sat outside ,these beers were served freezing cold ,we chi...

Ha'Penny Bridge is a brilliant Irish pub that offers a superb food and drinks range and is my favourite Irish pub in this superb area of Benalmádena. This superb Irish pub is on C.Torrealmádena and is a joy to visit. The brilliant pub has a very traditional Irish themed interior with many interesting items relating to Ireland and Irish culture. With an excellent arrey of seating areas and a very large outside terrace'it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. We have visited this excellent pub a couple of times and its always a great pub to have a few beer's in.They show live sport and it's a great place to watch rugby in.We visited here in the afternoon on a red hot day and decided to have a...

We arrived around 7.45 and was told there would be a 30 minute wait for food as the kitchen was backed up and that was fine . We ordered drinks and then needed ordered a couple of minutes later. We ordered two kids sausages and chips and the southern fries Goujons and chips. By 8.30pm our food still had not come and we asked the waiter and he seemed shocked that we hadn’t got our food. We had to wait another 30 minutes and it was nearly 9pm while we got our food and by this stage we were just frustrated. The waiter apologised . Overall the food was fine but the service was slow. Maybe arrive earlier if you don’t want to wait so long for the food. My wife said the bathrooms were clean too. Bi...

I found this bar not very family friendly. A female staff member was not very pleasant and should consider going on a customer service course. Her attitude left alot to be desired. The staff member in question was extremely rude also. I would not recommend visiting this bar. Particularly if you are visiting as a family. There are alot of other Irish Bars you can visit which are more welcoming to families with children. I would give 0 stars to this bar if I could. An extremely disappointing and not very pleasant experience was had by all of us. We will definitely not be back. Book a table now

I stood at the bar for 10 minutes and didn't even get acknowledged, so I joined my wife at the table she'd sat at and watched the the race on the TV. 20 minutes later the waitress took our order, after another 10 minutes we were still drink free so got up to leave, the blokes behind the bar were doing nothing, but we were told there was a problem with the till. 45 minutes without being able to get a drink, we're in the hotel just up the road but won't be going back, it's a shame because it looks like a nice pub but today they didn't want my money.

Visited this ‘ Irish Bar’ yesterday. I thought it was a reasonable possibility that as an Irish team was in the European Rugby Final it would be on the TV. No chance . Perfect for you if you are from Liverpool or Manchester. Just rename yourselves a British bar to reflect your ethos and clientele.

I used to go there every year and loved the bacon and cabbage. There was a distinctly Irish flavour and that is no longer the case. Things have changed for the worst. I'm afraid the food quality has deteriorated, big time.

Chicken burger was almost inedible. It was bone dry and no attempt to season the chicken or garnish it with a sauce/salad. Also don’t accept card which is poor in the current climate. Book a table now
