I was able to go to Happiness Forgets for the first time from winning a competition, to attend the launch of Remy Martin's cocktail app. This was a bar I had heard great things about but have not been successful in getting to, in part due to its popularity; Stephen and I chanced it one Friday night, not even that late but it was already packed to the rafters. Happiness Forgets is a place where happy memories are made, whether they’re remembered the following day or not. With its quirky furniture and 40s/50s jazz music, this small candle-lit bar doesn’t lack ambience. Now, let’s discuss drinks. Seeing as the founder, Alastair Burgess, trained at award winning Pegu in NYC, it’s not surprising that this spot makes killer drinks. There’s the Perfect Storm that mixes dark rum, lemon, and ginger juice with honey and a dash of plum brandy; or Baptiste, which is made of cider, cognac, lemon and maple syrup. Best part: cocktails are only about £8 each. Make sure to book ahead.

I wouldn't believe it as a famous or nice bar if I didn't say it was one of the "best bar" in the world. the impressing and simple drinks can really bore them. even though the bartenders were really nice and they apparently invite bartenders all over the world as a gast bartender once in the time.

This is one of the best cocktail bars in London; intimate, low key and rare. Probably not for everyone but that is a good thing. Highly recommend this place
