Happy dog is great! One of the best fast food I have ever been! It is really a hidden gem in this area of West Chicago. The food here is amazing! Everything on their menu is so affordable and fair. You can literally try and order anything you want without breaking your pockets or reaching the limits. Their food is reasonably priced. What a delightful gem this restaurant is! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The decor was clean and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious! I appreciate that everything is served hot and ready, with a very short wait time. There are picnic tables available, and it’s warm enough to enjoy eating outside. We’ll definitely be returning. Delicious food! The fries are fantastic—crispy and well-seasoned. The Happy Dog with fries comes with a generous portion to savor. The Polish sauce is incredibly tasty. The owner is friendly and makes you feel right at home. It's much better than Portillo's. If you're in West Chicago, you definitely need to check it out!
Happy Dog is a great place for a hot dog, gyro, pizza pocket or a Polish. The building is really small, so there is no eating inside, but they have many picnic benches for eating outside. Love the sides also, like the cheese curds with marinara and the onion rings.
