I recently visited a Thai restaurant in Addison that served some of the best Thai food I've had, including my favorite dish, drunken noodles. Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed due to the pandemic. I decided to try a new Thai place, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I ordered my usual dish with shrimp and a coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was the highlight of the meal, but the drunken noodles didn't have the traditional Thai flavors I was hoping for. I had an amazing dining experience at Happy Elephant that reminded me of the delicious food I had in Thailand. Every time I order from there, I feel like I am transported back to my time in Thailand. The food is not only delicious with perfect portions, but they also took my zöliakie dietary requirements into consideration and cooked my food accordingly. Despite this, the taste was never compromised and I never had any reactions. It was pure joy to eat there and I am grateful for the opportunity to taste authentic Thai cuisine that truly transports me back to Thailand. We thought we would try this place again as it had been a few years. Generally we would go to Stir Crazy, Bok Choy, or a couple of others for Tai food. As it was the last time, same problem. The amount of protein they give you for the price is very little. The quality of the dish and flavor good. I always felt cheated when we went there, and no different 2 years later. Shrimp Pad Tai had like 6 small shrimps. Rip off. That will be the last time
The food is excellent, the portion sizes are good, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Since seating is limited due to COVID, it's a good idea to call ahead. They offer carryout and delivery options. Definitely worth a visit!

I ordered the pad thai and basil fried rice. The flavor was good for both dishes. Pretty middle if the road Thai food but not in a bad way.. So, I definitely didn't experience what other reviewers did. They were polite and quick with my order.
The prices for the food are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. The pad I ordered was delicious, and I can't wait to explore more dishes from this restaurant in the future!
We called in a larger order with restrictions. Very nice on the phone. Order was done in 15 minutes. Very friendly. Food was all correct and delicious. Would definitely recommend
