8/20/22 This is one of the nicer Happy Lemons I 've been to. It 's a bit hipstery, a bit happy happy. Lots of wood and nice finishes on the walls and tables and stuff. Feels airy nice place to relax unlike many packed boba places. 1. Strawberry Milk Shake caffeine free, soy milk alternative : FINALLY!!! a drink that 's lactose free by default!!! It was good too. Creamy. Maybe could use more strawberry flavor, but given it 's soy milk, it was remarkably tasty. Was pleasantly surprised to find a Happy Lemon in San Leandro! Came here in the evening and it was relatively empty; I got the fresh lemon black tea with no sugar (don't know why I did that, but trust me, don't do it. Get at least 25% . My drink personally was not good but that was my own fault for choosing 0% sugar, which I won't be doing again. My friend on the other hand, chose wisely and got a lemon slush with lychee jelly. I tried some of that and that was delicious. Onto the decor and vibes one thing I appreciated about this Happy Lemon was the bright mural which I don't typically see in Happy Lemons and a communal seating area. It makes it a great spot to catch up with friends!
Súper yummy slushies here very flavorful the I always get the mango slush with aloe when In season and you can tell that the fruit is fresh, their bubble waffles are also nice and crispy on the edges but soft and fluffy in the middle slightly sweet made to perfection. The only thing I wish is that they could adjust the sweetness level in the Beverage as I sometimes want it to be less sweet other than that it's definitely a must try for a cool refreshing drink.
I have experienced another instance where I paid for an extra item at this restaurant and it was not included in my order. The first time this happened, the staff argued with me and insisted that I was mistaken instead of resolving the issue promptly. I will continue giving my business to the San Leandro location, as I have never encountered any problems there over the years. This may be why the Alameda location is frequently empty.

The experience was flawless! Every detail was spot on according to our preferences (extra ingredients, level of sweetness, amount of ice), and all of us agreed that our drinks were delicious. We will definitely be ordering again in the future.
There was absolutely no puff cream in my milk tea despite having ordered a puff creme milk tea. My wife ordered cheese as an additional topping and that was also not Included in her drink.
Great drinks and waffles, but staff aren't working well together. They were confused when I asked them where my waffle was and only then started to warm up the griddle to make it.
The Mango Yakult Smoothie from G3 is absolutely delicious. It is topped with mango chunks and the portion size is generous for the price. Definitely my favorite!
