The gentleman who served us recommended we add some extra heat, which we really appreciated since many takeaways in Britain tend to lack flavor. I recently moved into the opposite and after the attempt of these Chinese I would not go anywhere else, it is really one of the best Chinese takeaways I had (every one! and the quality is just as good each time. the portions are normal/average size and eating is always hot and comes immediately.
