This isn't your typical Chinese place. It had a small buffet for lunch. The food taste very authentic and reminds me of Chinese restaurant food before buffets took over. The fried rice and egg rolls remind me of what my mother use to make back in the 1970s. Although the buffet is small... the food is awesome, a lot better then most Chinese restaurant buffets..
The food was disappointing. The egg rolls were soggy and undercooked, and the fried rice had unappetizing chicken that resembled chicken skin. The sesame chicken tasted more like watered-down BBQ sauce. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Overall, it was a letdown, especially considering I spent $40.
The presentation was impressive and the service was friendly, but unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. If I ever find myself back in Lincoln and looking for a quick meal, I won’t choose this place again.
