Hargreaves Arms - Table reservation

I would not recommend this restaurant at all. When I visited with my family, the atmosphere was unpleasant with local patrons behaving rudely and swearing. The bar staff were unfriendly and the service was poor. I waited at the bar to be served but was ignored until they were ready. The place had a dirty smell and the carpet was sticky. Our food was eventually served but it was cold and unappetizing. When we complained to a staff member, they showed no interest. We should have left earlier.

During our stay at the nearby Rossendale Camping site, we decided to explore the area on foot. We stumbled upon this pub and stopped in for a drink and a break. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even allowing our dog inside. The food was satisfactory, and they were willing to modify a main dish of calamari into a starter for us. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Rossendale.

I made a reservation for my family of nine to dine at this restaurant while visiting the area to see family. We felt very welcome and enjoyed tasty home-cooked meals that were flavorful and filling. I would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The serving sizes are generous and delicious. We will definitely return. The ambiance has a genuine traditional pub vibe!

The atmosphere is amazing, the bar staff is super beautiful. The food is excellent and the restaurant is very dog friendly. The locals are brilliant and very welcoming.
