I discovered this Harold's Chicken by chance. I came out this way for a Walmart pickup. But decided to get a little bite to eat first (6 piece nuggets) from McDonald's. When I was pulling out of McDonald's, I saw Harold's Chicken across the street. I wondered to myself if they were good. I said to myself that I'll keep them in mind in the future. I turned right not realizing that I would end up turning into where Harold's was at, to turn around towards Walmart. I decided to get some then (screw those Mcnuggets). Best decision ever! I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. She answered the phone and was very friendly. She apologized multiple times and told me to come back and mention our conversation, and that I could get a replacement for my chicken. I returned the following Monday, and they replaced it without any issues! Recently, after a long day, my wife picked up six wings with hot sauce, and they were delicious! I can definitely recommend this place! A side note: the coleslaw is always fresh, and they kindly ask if you want it before serving it, unlike some other locations that automatically add it to your chicken.
This was my first visit to this location since I was in the area, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. The food was unpleasant, and the customer service was even worse. The cashier had a terrible attitude both over the phone and in person. I requested hot sauce, mild sauce, and lemon pepper, but for some reason, they decided to serve the sauces on the side—did I ask for that? Absolutely not. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I will never return. I’ll stick with the Harold's on 117th and Pulaski. The staff at this Cicero location were rude and uninformed, and I am extremely frustrated.
I've never had Harold's Chicken that was as fresh as this! I visited three days in a row and even sent my sisters there before they returned to Indianapolis! I ordered the wing and perch combo, and honestly, the fish was even better than the chicken! Can you believe that? Everything was just amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back to this place! The staff must be incredible! They deserve to be treated like royalty! You might need an elevator just to keep them around—really! Book a table now
I will never return to this restaurant again because they consistently ignore the instructions for preparing my order. The service is terrible! This isn’t the first time my order has been wrong; I gave them a second chance, but they’ve blown it again. It’s not like baseball where you get three strikes—two strikes and you’re out. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place to order from!
I live in Romeoville and was out that way visiting family. I ordered my food and came all the way home to Romeoville for it to be WRONG. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce. I got home and had 2 wings and 2 breast. This is not what I wanted or what I ordered. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with the cashier over the phone, who was incredibly rude. I've never encountered such an unfriendly attitude before. Her name was Nicole, and I don't think she should be working in customer service. Food quality: 1/5.
Back home visiting Harold's has been one of my favorite places but this one not so much my chicken was not fully cooked and my wings looked as if they were going to fly off my dish with all of the feathers on them Book a table now
Lil Durk was spot on—Harold's chicken is absolutely worth sharing! It’s so delicious that there was no time to snap any photos beforehand. Seriously, just try it!
