I discovered this Harold's Chicken by chance. I came out this way for a Walmart pickup. But decided to get a little bite to eat first (6 piece nuggets) from McDonald's. When I was pulling out of McDonald's, I saw Harold's Chicken across the street. I wondered to myself if they were good. I said to myself that I'll keep them in mind in the future. I turned right not realizing that I would end up turning into where Harold's was at, to turn around towards Walmart. I decided to get some then (screw those Mcnuggets). Best decision ever! This was my first visit to this location since I was in the area, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. The food was unpleasant, and the customer service was even worse. The cashier had a terrible attitude both over the phone and in person. I requested hot sauce, mild sauce, and lemon pepper, but for some reason, they decided to serve the sauces on the side—did I ask for that? Absolutely not. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I will never return. I’ll stick with the Harold's on 117th and Pulaski. The staff at this Cicero location were rude and uninformed, and I am extremely frustrated.
I will never return to this restaurant again because they consistently ignore the instructions for preparing my order. The service is terrible! This isn’t the first time my order has been wrong; I gave them a second chance, but they’ve blown it again. It’s not like baseball where you get three strikes—two strikes and you’re out. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place to order from!
Just finished my 3 wings 3 legs dinner box. The chicken was nice and crispy with great flavor. THAT MILD SAUCE WAS SOOOO GOOD I COULD DRINK IT WITH A STRAW!!!!! It did take kinda long (15 minutes) to get my order but to be fair they cook it to order and WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Total price was $10.84 and well worth it. When I come back to Chicago I'm gonna make sure I get some Harold's. Book a table now
I live in Romeoville and was out that way visiting family. I ordered my food and came all the way home to Romeoville for it to be WRONG. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce. I got home and had 2 wings and 2 breast. This is not what I wanted or what I ordered. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with the cashier over the phone, who was incredibly rude. I've never encountered such an unfriendly attitude before. Her name was Nicole, and I don't think she should be working in customer service. Food quality: 1/5.
Back home visiting Harold's has been one of my favorite places but this one not so much my chicken was not fully cooked and my wings looked as if they were going to fly off my dish with all of the feathers on them
This is the absolute best Harold’s I have been to!!! I drive from Hoffman Estates and the chicken and the service is Excellent. The food is hot and extremely crispy! None can compare!!! Book a table now
The wait is 30 minutes if you order in person. If you try to call in your order you will be on hold for 15 minutes. It's ok could be betterFood: 3/5
