"Great for a late night snack as they open until midnight but I found the food here to be a little bit below par compared to the branches that they have in the city and even the one closer to Burwood. Overall not a bad place to eat but could be better!"

After this place started branching out.. and the one in Liverpool opened.. it no longer felt special because we didn't have to drive out to Woolloomooloo. The food is decent here... but it feels like the hype is over. With so any different locations offering the same menu but without the same atmosphere.. the food still tastes good but slightly more generic than it use to. For the more authentic experience... I still suggest making your way out to the Woolloomooloo branch, sitting out on the logs on a cold winters night... and trying to smash down a hotdog or pie while trying not to get covered in sauce or mashed peas... then walking over to the service station across the road to get some......

Really?. To the girl serving us tonight, one sentence to describe you a blabbering and obnoxious person. Maybe if you had the courteousy to shut your mouth and stop talking about the soccer to your other uninterested staff member you would have gotten my order right. Whilst there are other people waiting in the freezing winds to be served by your incompetent and annoying self you totally ignored us and swept us aside after our food is tossed at us so you can continue arguing your onesided argument about your so called unbelievably good Arsenal if this is the service I'm getting I rather walk across and get maccas. One word of advice stfu!

I’m here for a Harry’s Tiger, a feature of every Cafe de Wheels. During military service Harry earned the nickname, “Tiger” due to his boxing skills. Harry’s Tiger pie pays tribute to the man. And it’s man-sized; beef pie topped with mash, mushy peas and gravy. The filling is piping hot with thick, man chunks of beef that collapse into long strips of tender meat – some get caught between your teeth, the rest settle deep inside your stomach. You’d want to be hungry to conquer one of these Tigers.
