After abandoning breakfast as another location, we defaulted to our hotel's buffet restaurant...hang it, we were hungry and upset and figured we'd probaby end up spending at least the same amount anywhere else as for the full buffet...so in we go. Busy, lots of young families, homely. Unfortunately that's about it. Cold plates, cold scrambled eggs, cold (and barely cooked) bacon, cold mushrooms, cold hash browns. Coffee (machine) was very strong and quite good. Usual juices but loads of condiments (seeds, nuts, salads, yoghurts, cereals, etc). Problem was with the kids using the place as a playground and slack a@#e parents no looking after them. We caught on kid eat cream off the serving spo...
Had a great weekend stay next to Harry's - at The Stamford - so had a couple of meals here in the bar section. Wonderful warm outdoor setting with umbrellas, benches, blankies, mulled wine and great entertainment in the laneway. Indoors for good value happy hour drinks and Thursday night meal specials for wonton soup and laksa. Great service and welcome. Definitely will return next visit to Melbourne.
Good choice of beverages and couple that with a good range of nibbles- nice! Part of Stamford Plaza on street level. After shopping or shows its a nice stop for a refresher or maybe feeling like a lighter dinner option rather than the full dine out thing. The dim Sims in rice paper was very tasty.
Dined at Harry's on my wedding anniversary. My wife's lamb was undercooked. My medium-well steak was also undercooked with blood in the gravy. Didn't complain as I didn't want to upset the waiter who was excellent.

Had an early evening meal here as dining solo and wanted a quick meal. Seated in the bar area, good choice in the menu. Food was quite ok on arrival and pleasant surrounds to have a bite. Service ok.
Really enjoyed some great pre show drinks. Quite. Friendly. Great affordable menu. Will return for sure. Tried salt and pepper calamari and warm turkish bread and dips.
We stayed at the Stamford Plaza where Harry's is located. Don't bother with the breakfast buffet. You can get a better breakfast in any of the surrounding cafes
