My husband and I went to lunch at Harry's for his birthday. I booked our table one month earlier and revived two reminder texts which I thought was fantastic. When we arrived the place was filled with ambiance. The waitress that seated us was so happy and friendly and absolutely knew what she was talking about when it came to the food. We were given a run through of the menu and ordered the smaller and larger rumps. We were given some tips a on how to order the steak according to the cut and type which we accepted, and thank goodness we did. Restaurant has good space between tables and good vibe. Waiting staff are energetic and know their craft.We had the rump and scotch fillet as mains.These came with bread and butter ,salad and unlimited chips.The rump was presented very thin but reasonable in taste.The salads accompaning both meals consisting of lettuce and radish were underwhelming.The scotch fillet requested medium to well done was in fact underdone,as was agreed by the floor manager when brought to his attention.The fillet on it's return was a little more blackened on the outside but was certainly not as requested.It was represented with no knife or fork.Again the wait staff were good,the wine list good but for a restauran...
We went to this restaurant with high expectations. When we arrived for our booking we ordered quite quickly. We ordered a scotch fillet and an eye fillet from their signature steak menu. The bread came straight away but we then had to wait around 35 minutes for our steaks. I think this may have been some sort of mix up as it did not appear that everyone else was waiting this long. The waitress did let us know it was coming and apologised for the delay. When the food arrived the steaks were cooked nicely as requested and the eye fillet was very tender but not overly hot. Service was fine, although with the 2 sittings an evening they really rush you through. My scotch fillet was average and nothing special, which is a shame when they are supposed to specialise in steak. My husband's steak was overcooked and definitely not rare. No split bills, not even 50/50 so be prepared.OK for a one off, but there are much much better options in Burleigh.

Awesome steaks with atmosphere and excellent staff. The green beans are really good too. The only criticism is they ask you to leave the table if you are there longer than 2 hours (and they don't even re-sit the table)... I mean seriously who does that??? Especially on the coast!Poor form but very good food.
Harry's Steak Bistro is a very good steak cafe/bistro at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast - well prepared & tasty steaks are the speciality of the bistro....as a group of 6 we dined in a casual atmosphere which made us all relax & enjoy the night.
We tried all 4 steaks on the menu and could not fault one...for great service arrive early for added attention, endless supply of delicious fries a plus bonus.Nice casual atmosphere rounded of a fabulous evening.
The experience i had at Harry's was great! Food was delicious and wine list was perfect! Our waitress was also a delight and for the overall price, i thought it was extremely reasonable. Thanks legends

Thoroughly enjoyed the steak meal and can recommend this restaurant Staff and service were great and it was a very pleasant atmosphere.
Very Good service with excellent Timing we were a reasonable sized group everyone enjoyed there meals.
