I was looking forward to a juicy rump steak on March 24, 2023: also called roast beef or striploin, which is cut from the back of the beef. This classic steak is actually characterized by very juicy meat. Was even asked how I would like it fried. The anticipation didn't last long, disillusionment followed when the plate was brought...two thin cookies were on the plate! In response to the complaint, the decision was made, as is usual here, to be the chef's interpretation. So choose something else here, the Cordonbleu, boiled meat salad or Schnipo/French fries are great and tasty, also a decent portion. With rump steak you're looking for the meat and the meat that wasn't in season (red cabbage...
Eaten very well. From salad to main course to dessert. We were pleasantly surprised. We had Corden Bleu with croquets, a vegetable plate (6 or 7 different types), schnitzel, chicken nuggets, roasted lamb starter, children's ice cream in a tassli, a scoop of cinnamon, a scoop of banana. Very friendly service and top price-performance ratio. You could hear the schnitzel being freshly prepared. I would go again tomorrow.
The service was friendly and funny, but we had to wait 1:30 hours until the food was there. I have to say that there were 11 people there.
