I was excited to visit this restaurant. I saw it on Tik Tok a few times. It was a let down for our date night. We were seated in an enclosed “porch like” room with woven seats that made you sink down to low for the table. The food was bland. I am Latina and when you say something has sofrito, I will expect a ton of flavor. The appetizer was greasy. There was oil pooling at the bottom of the food. The pork was bland. The rice was undercooked and bland. The black beans were watery and bland. This isn’t real Cuban food. No soul. No flavor.
My family had a fantastic night out at Havana Central. I have visited this location a few times before; however, this was my first time bringing my family. Our Server, Jimmy, was terrific! Jimmy was prompt and very attentive to our needs. The food was flavorful, and the portion size was perfect! The manager came over to greet me and my family. She ensured our needs were met and our experience was pleasant. My children had so much fun and have asked to return. We will be back again!
I visited Havana Central for the first time after a friend's recommendation. I ordered the Pork Trio and was disappointed with my choice. The portions were too small for the price, and they forgot to include the rice. Our friend also ordered the Pork Trio but received chicharrón instead of the ribs.
The food and service were excellent! Our server was delightful, and the meals were served promptly. The manager also made a point to check in on us, which was a nice added touch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
