Overall, this is a great place for Hawaiian food. I actually prefer it to L&L, as the flavors and variety are better here. This location has been a staple in South Pasadena for a long time, and I've visited it frequently. The owners are friendly, and I especially enjoy the spicy beef. The macaroni salad is delicious, although it has a bit too much mayo for my taste. My only criticism is that I would rather have cooked cabbage instead of raw shredded cabbage. However, if you're looking for quick, grilled, and relatively healthy food, this is a solid choice.
I happened to be nearby, so I decided to walk over to this Hawaiian BBQ place. It turned out to be a great choice! I ordered the BBQ combo, which included short ribs, BBQ chicken, and BBQ beef, along with macaroni salad and rice. The short ribs were outstanding—perfectly seasoned. The BBQ beef and chicken were also excellent, and the macaroni salad complemented the meal very well. I also tried the spam musubi and BBQ chicken musubi, which were both solid, and I opted for easy rice. I would definitely return to explore their other menu items.
Wow, there are so many great places, but this is truly the best Hawaiian BBQ! I've been coming here for years and I can't bear the thought of going anywhere else. Their musubi is incredible. If you're in the mood for an Ahi Burger, they've got that too, and it's delicious. They also offer large special rolls, which is a huge bonus since I can enjoy both sushi and Hawaiian food at the same time. The owners are incredibly humble and always friendly, greeting you with smiles and politeness. I've never been let down. Big thumbs up from me!
The restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere and delivers fresh meals that are perfect for any weather, whether it's cold or hot. I tried the Chicken Katsu Combo, which comes with rice and macaroni salad, and it was satisfying. I also enjoyed the Spicy Pork Combo, which includes the same delicious sides. Lastly, the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Combo with rice and macaroni salad was a nice addition to the meal. Overall, a great dining experience!

I really enjoyed their sushi and rolls. I personally believe that their food is more authentic and fresh than the restaurants that serve these kinds of food as well. Based on me and my family's experience, we specifically enjoyed their spicy pork, macaroni salad, salad with their home-made sauce, and spam musubi.

The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Everything was cooked to perfection—especially the rice, which was just right!

Get the spicy pork it's really good but it have some kicks it comes with macaroni salad and rice.
