Chef Joel and chef Junya will blow your mind! Their fish ranges from unique flavors/pairings to classic tastings. They really take pride in what they do, and focus on making sure the customer is happy.Food: Anago was my favorite! I got two orders because it was so yummy. Their sauce is made in house and the sushi is served warm. It melts in your mouth and you'll feel like you're in clouds, or living in a beautiful bento box. Uni is also very fresh.Price: The price is written on the blackboard, so you won't be surprised with the bill. Their pricing is very fair.Sit at the bar if you can! Chat with the chefs so they can tailor foods to your palate. I'll be back.
Shows one of my favorite sushi spots in all LA/The 626. Authentic Japanese dishes along with fantastic fresh sushi. Hayato Sushi has been my goal for years and has never disappointed. This place brought me through the pandemic and I am forever grateful for its existence. They are food always comfort even at the strangest times. They are busy, especially on weekends! If you cannot get from them when you try to call for a togo order, it is because they are already too busy with Dine-in. Remember and be patient, they are a small company that provides quality
Sorry to say I had a bad experience. I took my son and his girlfriend and had to apologize most of the time. Service was bad and the food was bad. The seafood tasted old not fresh. When I talked to the waitress at the end of our meal (mind you alot of food was still on the table), basically her response was too bad so sad.
I recently visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is open under new management, despite its status showing as closed. I had been craving this particular combo, but the other Japanese restaurant I usually go to was not serving it.
