I was very excited about Haywood's food. It was part of a birthday trip for me and my husband. We sat at a nice table until we realized that the air conditioning radiated our neck. We ordered a beautiful bottle of wine, skipped appetizers and ordered our entrees. These lasted so long to come to our table that a party of three came, we sit next to us and order and eat appetizers and entrees before someone even came to us via a “mix up in the kitchen”. It must have been a good hour before we got our food. No apology until we were done and free dessert was offered for our inconvenience. We had put our hearts on the cheese dish we ordered, but couldn't get French bread because we said the kitche...
Our server was very polite and attentive; the food was great! We've dined there several times, will continue to do so.
Excellent rib eyes! Great dessert. Cool downtown. We love the hotel, The Georges.
