Heilmanns - Table reservation

We capped our wonderful trip to the Bauhaus in Dessau with a dinner at heilmann's because it was recommended by the Bauhaus visitor's center. when we arrived on october we stood at the entrance for along time before we got seated. we asked for...an english menu, they said they had none. we struggled with our german and asked a number of questions of the wiatress, but we couldn't understand her or make ourself understood to her. she had no patience. so she ignored us for minutes until we finally figured out a simple spaghetti and fish order. the food was good, but we were so hungry we had our heads down on the table, as we were so weak. we checked in with the bauhaus the next day, and they we...

After an event we were advised to go to Heilmanns. We were a very large group and arrived in parts. In total there were of us. The weather was nice, so we sat in the courtyard, not inside. The staff was fine with us...rearranging the tables so we could share as much as possible the table, and they carried additional two tables and chairs from the inside to the courtyard to accommodate all of us. We had a mixed international company. For some of the staff speaking English was not so easy, and there were no menus in English. There was a small choice of vegetarian meals.
