I had high hopes for this Japanese restaurant, but I was disappointed to find that they did not offer Nigiri or Sashimi. When I inquired about these dishes, the server seemed uninterested. Additionally, I ordered two rolls but only received one. When I mentioned this, I was given a new bill and the missing roll to go for free. While this gesture was appreciated, it felt insincere and lacking in apology. To make matters worse, we were not offered refills on our drinks for my son. Overall, this was a negative dining experience that did not live up to the positive reviews I had seen.
The best place for sushi in Helena. The service is top-notch, and the lunch options are fantastic. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. The food is a 5 out of 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3. Highly recommended dishes include Sashimi, Sushi Rolls, Edamame, Spicy Miso Ramen, Spicy Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Ramen and Sushi, and the Bozeman Roll. Not sure about specific vegetarian options, but they may have some available.
Upon entering the restaurant, it has more of a fast food vibe rather than that of a fine dining establishment. However, the food is decent and appears to be authentic Japanese cuisine. If the staff were a bit friendlier, they would easily earn 5 stars next time. Overall, the dining experience was rated at 5 for food quality, 3 for service, and 3 for atmosphere. The average price per person for a dinner meal was between $20-30.
I just went here for the first time today and it was delicious! I got the garlic ramen and it's by far some of the best I've had. It's comparable to ramen from Chinatown in downtown Chicago! I also got some of their yellowtail and alaska sushi rolls which were also fantastic. I'll definitely be going here again, and soon. 10/10!
