We come “actually” just because of the bartender. The bar has also been recommended more desolate and were there also for a birthday. Think who stands on quality and style doesn't come around the bar. It has become our favorite bar. You should also try the food there. Burgers and club sandwiches are amazing. However, the cheese plate was a disappointment, but the rest was really 100%
The service and quality have been rather neglected. The nice bartender Matthias is unfortunately no longer there. Too bad, I can't recommend the bar anymore. We opted for a quick dinner at Hemingways. The rum cocktails are delicious. Some of the offerings were a bit pricey. We shared the cheese plate and I had the chicken Caesar which was delicious. Co-worker had the chili which was more than ample.

as guests in the hotel we spent quite a lot of time in the bar. the hired were all charming and could not do enough to help. this is a cool and stylish place to spend time.
