Look really nice and full of people, I did not reserve a table just thought it looked good. the waiter asked ' 'if I had a reservation and I said no ' ', he said would i mind sitting at a high table, ' 'no problem I said ' '. He took me through a door with 4 tables. It comes apparent that he placed me in a smoking part of the restaurant, and as a none smoker and that there were only Two other people I could bear it as it was partially outside. I ordered the chicken and chill wrap with chips. I was engrossed in my phone news from the UK and sport when coming to the end of the meal there was a huge black hair on the side of the plate, I removed this that thought that was bad. Henry's is one of the regular haunts we use when staying over in Kerpen. Like most things German (and this is a compliment), the food and service is very consistent. Henry's gets its full name from the sand that is liberally spread across the floor giving it something of a beach hut feel. It's pretty popular with the locals too and appeals to different ages, it has a nice atmosphere. I usually have the mixed fajitas that are excellent but also does great salads and meats. It's reasonable value for money too so worth a visit if you're staying in the area. There's also a good cocktail list if you're in the mood to celebrate. We booked a table for 18:30, the restaurant was not full but had a relaxed atmosphere. We were seated immediately and a waitress took our drinks order. We ordered 2 Weiss beers non alcoholic from Erdinger a fizzy water and three strawberry daiquiri‘s. The drinks came very quickly and were refreshing. The waitress then brought the menu we ordered a goats cheese salad a mushroom salad, a Caesar salad, a rump steak and two children’s schnitzel with chips. The food was extremely fresh and large portions. Had an extremely nice evening the bill for 6 people came to €125. Good place to go for good food.
A lovely bar, and as the name suggests, it is sandy! The food was nice and well priced. I had a giant jacket potato one evening with prawns, and the cheeseburger on another occasion. Portions were very generous. The drink choices were good, and when requested they provided a large glass of lager rather than the typical smaller one. The service was excellent.
