I finally got around to writing this long overdue review and in summary, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. While a bit on the pricey side (our entire meal cost around $115 without drinks), the quality is top-notch. The meat is incredibly tender and delicious, particularly the brisket and banana pudding that I enjoyed, while my boyfriend raved about the beef rib. The rest of the menu was just okay for us. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. A bonus is that you can take a stroll around the Mission or check out the local shops to help digest your meal afterward. They open at 11 am and there is always a long line, so arriving early is advisable. We got there...

This restaurant serves the best beef rib I have ever had! We also tried the pork spareribs and beef brisket, both of which were delicious. The spareribs had a fantastic glaze that was sweet but not overwhelming. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful. However, the standout dish was the massive beef rib, which was absolutely phenomenal. The coleslaw was decent, with good flavor but lacking in sweetness and crunch. We visited on a weekday in November around 1:30 and only had to wait behind one person. Don't be deterred by reviews of long lines, as this place is definitely worth a visit. As a bonus, the San Juan Capistrano Mission is conveniently located across the street and is worth...

This place mimics many aspects of a world class BBQ place in Austin Texas called Franklins BBQ(selling by the lb, opening 11am-sellout T shirts, prices on some meats). To compare this place to Franklin's I feel is fair. The star rating is based on how Heritage compares the Franklin's.Brisket was dry, pulled pork and pork ribs lack strong flavor. Sides are better than Franklin's but people don't go to BBQ primarily because of sides. The prices are only a couple dollars less per half pound at best(depending on the meat) compared to Franklin's. The turkey is more expensive here than at Franklin's. If people want amazing authentic Texas BBQ, they need to fly to Austin Texas and go to Franklin's.

This restaurant does not match the high expectations. I have had incredible BBQ from Memphis to Texas, and this place would have a hard time staying in business. Maybe we visited on a bad day, but the meats were dry and the flavor was dominated by the overly sweet sauce. Nothing stood out as a dish that would make me want to come back. Save your money, skip the sides, and don't expect friendly service. Service: Dine-in. Book a table now

This BBQ restaurant is top-notch, earning a perfect 10 out of 10. The service, meal type, and atmosphere all receive high marks as well. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100. Highly recommended dishes include the Pork Ribs and Sausage.

The beef ribs here are amazing! I think they only have them Saturday (maybe Sunday? but menu hack, order and pay online to skip the line and you can park right up front and they'll bring you your food right to your car!

This restaurant in Southern California offers the best BBQ around. Enjoy a beer while waiting in line and watch as they smoke and weigh your food right in front of you. The experience is truly amazing.

The food here is pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend coming on weekends unless you enjoy waiting in long lines. The service is for dining in only and they serve lunch. Book a table now
