But the experience that we attained in this place was so incredible that I was convinced enough to do so now.We were a gang of 11 people looking for a place to stay for 2 nights in Shillong. We booked this place online and reached the spot around midnight. However since we were late, the owner of the hotel Mr Prateek, left us an email stating the booking was not confirmed and we were not aware of this as there was no coverage on the way. Had a luncheon get together with friends.The menu was a combination of healthy wraps,bakes and salads or burgers and steak sandwiches. I thought the food was abit plain and my vegetarian bake could have done with more spices or condiments. The venue was a wonderful verandah with a garden background.This cafe had ordinary tables and chairs and it was peaceful and so easy for conversations. Parking was off road and plentiful .A good day out and nice spot for a ride from the hustle and bustle of the beach strip.
Only 10 minutes from Burleigh Heads, they have a very good variety menu for a small cafe like this. The food is 30%+ less than on the beach and you sit indoors or outdoors with the natural forest surrounding you.A great selection of cakes etc, local honey jams and marmalade with local fruit and herbs for sale.If you're tempted to bring a paint brush or a hammer, you've missed the point.Suitable for all ages but this is one of our favourites in this part of the world.
Visited this cafe twice in one week - once for lunch and then on the weekend for breakfast. Both experiences were great - good quality food at a great price. Very kid friendly and lots of space. For breakfast there were 5 adults and four children. We sat outside and the kids just ran around on the grass making it a very relaxing morning. Food came out a little slow and didn't sync with coffees, but well worth the wait.

What a lovely little place, the setting tucked back off the road amongst the trees is wonderful, the balcony seating area is just marvelous ,the menu is very takeaway ,and not restaurant ,but then the prices are quite reasonable , even though not a restaurant the food is supremely well cooked and service is God and with heart and feeling,a place we will return to for sure.John and Gina.
My boyfriend brought me to this hidden treasure and it was lovely! It's like walking into a fantasy movie and you can have delicious homemade food. I had the chunky vegetable soup and a coffee. There was a women playing the guitar and singing which made it even more fairyland:). Just a nice place to have a good lunch.
Been here a few times now, love the rustic feel and the relaxed decor, the food is good enough to go back for a return visit. Suggest that they train the staff to check if more coffees are required, there is additional sales going begging here. Just ask, the most that can happen is the customer will say "no thanks"
We thoroughly enjoyed the burgers we had for lunch at this quaint cafe tucked away off the road. The outdoor seating on the verandah is so relaxing. I could have spent the whole afternoon reclining on a sofa letting the world pass by.Great pricing too!

What a find after a mornings hike along the Cream Trail. The Heritage Hideaway is rustic dining at its best. Down to earth food and good service.
We had a great breakfast at this very arty, rustic and atmospheric cafe in Tallebudgera. We will return when next in the area.
