My husband and I were on a date night. We didn’t know we needed reservations. The hostess sat us at a table, but said she needed it in 1.5 hours. That was fine. A cute place. Modern farmhouse decor. White-washed furniture. Twelve tables for two in the front. Very active bar with about 6-8 stools. In the back area, there were about 4 high top tables for 4. My cucumber margarita was great, but my husband’s regular margarita was too acidic. Too limey. He exchanged it for the cucumber. They have Small Plate meals, as well as specials. Fresh and flavorful ingredients, excellently prepared and plated. I had the Roasted Cauliflower taco, Chicken Taco (swapped in the pineapple salsa for the jalapeño relish , my dining partner had the Truffle Mushroom Manchego empanadas. We also had maduros, House Made Passion Fruit Iced Tea, and finished with churros. (The tres leches was sold out but will try for it next time. Nothing was oily or overly sauced. We are folks who usually bring home leftovers but the portions here were perfect for us -all plates were emptied and our bellies very happy. By far the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, sat outside because I didn’t make a reservation and they didn’t have tables inside but the drinks were incredible and the food was delicious and definitely fresh, everything from the service(Lauren was amazing) to the actual book they hand you the bill in was fantastic. Definitely recommend, will be back soon
First time here and definitely won’t be the last. While they had no tables available we sat at the bar which turned out to be great. The drinks are amazing by a great bartender and the food was wonderful as well, everything was delicious and flavorful. The service was great as well. Highly recommend if in the area ro give this a try.

This is my third time coming here and as a Latina, im still impressed with the fresh drinks fresh foods. If you come here fish tacos and pernil tacos are a must!! And as a women/mom in her thirties! Fresh drinks are a must for me. Want to taste good quality drinks like they just cut the fruit in the back? Come to HERMANAS!!
Great intimate restaurant right in the center of downtown Lindenhurst. If you're looking for real, authentic, cuisine away from larger, noisier and over crowded bar type atmospheres, try this place. Plus, they supports our Veterans and our Law Enforcement Professional programs.

Great local spot. The food was fresh and very tasty. Good drink choices and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Gluten free options were really helpful for my dinner partner.
