I went there with a couple of friends on a friday night, looking for a party. Indeed there was a good time to be had, but we got escorted out by the bouncers not long after entering. From what my friend later told me, the waitress at the bar didn't understand what he was trying to order as she didn't speak English, so she notioned to one of the guys at the door to show him out. To be clear, he was not in a drunken state or being generally obtrusive. To their credit, their manner in this action was polite and the head security guy apologized as he wasn't sure what the misunderstanding was, and mentioned that we should come back some other night. With it's slightly bizarre mix of Irish and American memerobillia this has absolutely nothing to do with Scotland (although we did see a teenager with a sporran once, nowt else traditional, just a sporran over his jeans)! We've been here a few times for a pint at the end of the night and find it to be a pleasant pub whilst we've been there it's had a good mix of pop, rock and indie with a lot of 80s music yesssssss. It's does a good mix of beers. It does have pretty hilarious clientele lots of teenagers very good for people watching. Open to late, good choice of beers and spirits, nice relaxed bar Monday to Wednesday, becomes busy on a Thursday and the rear opens as a night club. Prices OK, definately worth a visit.
