Shop has good selection of clothes, gifts, plants etc. Cafe is a nice area but it’s a cafe and food prices are too expensive for food served/quality of food eg shepherds pie and veg £9.95, chicken dinner £10.95. I could have gone to a lovely bar or restaurant and had similar from a lunch menu served to me in better surroundings for same price, maybe even less. Whole shop lacks atmosphere and could be great with some improvements.
really great experience here . I had a group of older people with me for lunch, the personal has taken us very well. the building is disabled friendly, the kitchen staff helped in planning ahead and had all the food ready for our arrival it was well organized with reserved places I absolutely be back and highly recommend Hillmount band for lunch with groups. many thanks that everyone said they enjoyed it.
Great service from start to finish. After realising we couldn't order from GB it was great to walk in and have garden furniture arrive and put in place at a time that suited us. After a small problem a replacement was delivered quickly and faulty item taken away again at a time that suited us. Delivery drivers were polite/chatty and had good advice about looking after the garden furniture as well.
I took a group of 20 seniors today, including some people with limited mobility, at hillmount bangor. the whole side was very accessible, and we enjoyed the purchase. we had pre-ordered our meal preferences and were not disappointed. eating was hot, delicious and with very generous portions. service was prompt and helpful, and the staff was friendly and friendly. I think hillmount is exactly what bangor lacks, nice staff, nice caffe, eating is spot on, the load is in the budget and I am a more regular, love it!
I go into hillmount wih my daughter who has autism and learning disability the staff are amazing and they make the experience great
