I had an amazing experience from start to finish at this restaurant. While some may find the space a bit small, I personally enjoy cozy spots, and honestly, you'll likely forget about it once you taste the food. My cousin and I tried the avocado bruschetta and the mushroom ravioli, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic—definitely a perfect 10 out of 10! Although the pasta portion was modest, the generous sauce made up for it. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the presentation is beautiful. One of the standout aspects of dining here is that the owner and chef takes the time to connect with guests and ensure everyone is happy, which I truly appreciated. Additionally, there's a lo...

This was our second visit to HiLo. Our first experience was on Mother’s Day when the restaurant was quite busy, but we managed to find a table near the entrance. We enjoyed the food enough to come back. Last week, we visited on a late evening when only about three other tables were occupied besides ours. All the diners were seated in the front area of the restaurant. I found it quite distracting and unprofessional that there was so much noise and loud chatter, accompanied by laughter, coming from both the waitstaff and the kitchen. They were definitely louder than the patrons! Additionally, from my seat, I had a view of the kitchen and the cooks, and I appreciated seeing them busy cleaning u...

This place is such a hidden gem. As a celiac I am always looking for safe and delicious places to dine out. The staff was so educated on celiac and provided an amazing meal. The menu has many options of meals that are naturally gluten free and meals that can be changed to be prepared gluten free. There is gluten free pasta, bread, and even pizza. We had an amazing server who even recommended a gluten-free bakery down the road. Nothing but kinda words to say about this place! Dietary restrictions: Celiac (severe gluten-free)

I visited HiLo on a weekday afternoon after exploring the Botanical Gardens. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I will certainly return. We shared a salad and the wild mushroom pizza, both of which were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I also used the restroom to wash my hands before eating, and it was immaculate. Overall, it was a great experience. Vegetarian options: There are several tasty choices for vegetarians. Service: Dine-in. Book a table now

The food here is excellent, with perfectly portioned servings that won't leave you feeling overwhelmed. The service is attentive and friendly, all within a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. It's truly a hidden gem located on the southwest side of Denver. Be sure to make a reservation and enjoy your visit!

The overall experience was pretty good. The food came out lukewarm, but the service was fine. While the meal wasn't especially hot, it was still enjoyable. It may not have been an exceptional dining experience, but it's a solid choice for a neighborhood restaurant.

The food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend trying the spicy tuna tartare, burrata, lobster ravioli, and banana bread pudding! The flavors were incredible!
