It was New Year's Eve, and the waiter was very polite and friendly. However, it seemed that the kitchen wasn't quite ready for the rush that comes with the holiday. We waited 15 minutes for our cocktails and then an hour and 15 minutes for our dinner, which consisted of two entrees and a side. Unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked, dry, and not what we ordered. The eggplant was tasty, but the steamed bok choy lacked flavor. Overall, despite the issues with the meal, we had a decent experience. We were just happy to have a couple of hours to catch up without interruptions. In the end, we still enjoyed a wonderful New Year's Eve.
I have been to almost all of the sushi restaurants in Lincoln and have to say even though I have only just discovered this one ... it might be my favorite. Lots of options and some really nice combinations that I have not found elsewhere. Whoever puts some of these together knows a thing or two about flavor and texture and every roll so far has been a delight to try. The atmosphere is classy and the server was attentive and they are even open late compared to some offerings in the area. Definately worth checking out.
We booked a table almost a week in advance for a Sunday in order to enjoy the Reverse Happy Hour. I tried calling ahead to confirm that the happy hour would be available on New Year’s Eve, but no one picked up the phone. When we arrived, there was a notice taped to the window stating that happy hour would NOT be honored. The wait for sushi was close to 45 minutes. While the food was good, I was overall quite disappointed with the dining experience.
I was a bit disappointed, considering the hype surrounding Hiro 88. The food we ordered was decent but not outstanding. There were limited options for vegetarians/vegans. It would be nice if the miso soup could be made vegetarian to provide more options. The service and atmosphere were both excellent!

We hadn’t been to Hiro 88 in awhile but it’s our go to spot for Sushi. We were impressed with the service and the food. Only downside to our trip this time was the sound in the restaurant seemed to be rather loud and hard to hear each other. Overall still at 5 star.
Great service,great atmosphere, very clean,food was good but did not have the wow factor. Prices were reasonable for what was ordered.We did NOT like scanning the menu on our phones.This was a tried it once but won’t go back kind of restaurant.I’ve had better Sushi.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent, but the service can be a bit slow. I believe it may be a kitchen issue, likely due to the pandemic. Regardless, this is my wife and son's favorite sushi spot.
I go here at least once a month. The food is always good, and the pricing isnt too bad. The servers are always friendly. I will say it usually takes a bit for it to come out; worth the wait though.

The bento box they offer for lunch is a fantastic value. We have also enjoyed their happy hour, and the sushi is consistently delicious!
Sunday is all day happy hour and the food tasted old also. We come here occasionally but always regret not choosing something better
