Have visited 4 times in the last few years and always come away happy. Not the cheapest, but moderately priced. Views are what you are paying for. Great brochettes (kabob) with decent steak meat for France. Drinks are pricey but caters to tourists looking for vacation experience. Often went here when we lived there and feel like we were on vacation far away due to the scenery. Will definitely go back. Average on food and drinks, but the location and views pushed into the next category for me.
Having walked through the woods from Biscarrosse Plage we luckely happened on this beautifully located restaurant Service was very good food was great and very good value too It started to rain heavily and having tried for a taxi one of the staff Nelson actually...drove us to our accommodation (5kms) Very kind Slight problem with a very Argentines dog wandering through the tables Having been bitten before by a big dog my wife was a bit scared
we booked a table to my daughter's birthday and were really impressed. the decor and the atmosphere were fantastic, eating was absolutely beautiful, very fine and tasty. the service was friendly, relaxed and fast, although the restaurant is completely full we wanted to have discovered the restaurant earlier in our stay so that we could come back.
This was booked by friends of ours who have good local knowledge so we were very happy to let them propose somewhere in a tourist area. The restaurant has great history. We all had something different (Lamb, Steak, Duck Salad) which was all excellent....I would not hesitate to go back to this place when next in town. Book a table now
I just had lunch in the restaurant. it was absolutely great. service was excellent. we were greeted at the arrival by a beautiful lady who explains the dishes. thunfisch and salat were one of the best lunches we had recently. the setting was perfect. Many thanks for all of us going back.
beautiful location, interior decoration and view in the lake. the food is beautifully presented, but the quality is average and in small portions. the baguette is below the average by French standards. our waiter was nice, but some other waiters were below average
We came here for lunch and found the staff incredibly friendly. I was extremely pleased to see a vegan option on the menu too. The food was delicious and the views over the lake just topped the experience off.
We waited for 90 minutes after ordering our food and there was no apology for it. The food was average and the prices were a bit expensive for what I got. Maybe this restaurant is victim of its success? Book a table now
