Was thrilled to finally stop here for dinner and it was worth the wait. The history of the place is what first attracted me to Revere. President James Buchanan once owned this property, and Stephen Foster's sister was an owner before Buchanan. The interior is very nice and celebrates its colonial roots as one of many inns and taverns that was on a well-travelled route in the early years of our country. The owner even took us for a short tour since we were very interested to see and learn more. As for the food! Fantastic! I had their signature Prime Rib, which was cooked to perfection along with crispy fries. My son had the NY Strip and crabcake! My brother had the Fillet Oscar. Also good was...

Food was ok but waitress and manager the worst. We are traveling on vacation. Waitress treated us like she could not be bother. We didn’t even know there were specials until we overheard our waitress telling another table. I didn’t finish my food because was full and wasn’t that good. Waitress pushed for a reason and when I explained all she stated was “she just knew I was going to be a problem”. Manager told my husband she was her best waitress. Needless to said paid the bill without leaving a tip.
excellent food Super excellent service. Fascinating history. It's just a shame that the place is going to close this coming Saturday, after being open since 1740. Glad we got to stay at the place right in the 90th minute.
Appreciated Revere Tavern hosting Bird-in-Hand Restaurant and Theater. Brought my sister and her family to The Confession musical. We enjoyed our meal and the show. Book a table now
Food is wonderful! Bar is very nice and historic. Sad they are closing because of lack of employees. Been there since 1740.
The Historic Revere Tavern is NOT closed at this time. It is being sublet by The Bird in Hand Family Restaurant and Stage.
Great place! Ate at the bar...pleasant atmosphere. Food was awesome. Prime rib and filet mignon. Reasonable prices.

"You have to visit this place! The fish and chips were incredibly crispy and delicious. The tartar sauce complemented them perfectly, and they also offer malt vinegar. It can get busy, but we stopped by for an afternoon snack and didn’t have to wait at all. It’s easily shareable for a light meal."
