I came in and placed a take out order for 1 large beef egg fu young, 1 large string bean with beef in szwechwaun sauce, 1 large sweet sour chicken and 1 extra large combination fried rice. Not one container of white rice was included in my take out order. There should have been 1 container for each order for a total of 3. Very disappointed. We moved to Evanston about 5 years ago and wish I had found Ho Ho sooner as every other Chinese restaurant we had tried up until now (that delivers to our address) has been just okay. Everything we ordered was delicious but special shoutout to the egg foo young and chicken udon which are the best I have had in years! Delivery was quick and the food was still hot when it arrived as well. I grew up eating at Young's in Glenview (RIP) and the food at Ho Ho was very reminiscent of that!
I've had Mongolian beef from sooo many places, but no one does it like ho ho! The beef is never chewy nor has a gross beefy taste (if that makes any sense). Their lo mein noodles are delicious as well, either chicken, shrimp, or veggie noodles. And their crab ragoon is sooooo good. Definitely my favorite chinese spot! Good food friendly staff.
I enjoy coming here for my Chinese food, mistakes here there, so I call talk to the owner they fix the mistake give me a discount, food is always the best here, my favorite Chinese Restaurant

I always get takeout from here but I tried delivery today and it was perfect. Delivery was quicker then expected and the food is soo delicious and fresh I love this place!
Food was too greasy. Asked for extra scallions sprouts in my fried rice. Didn't get them but was charged. There won't be any more business from me.
The fried rice wasn’t good at all as it usually is and chow Mein had no noodles just shrimp and veggies
