We are not to sure if they have changed ownership or management but the last two times here have been horrible and it's not cheap. Today I had the classic Canadian breakfast with a small orange juice for 14.50. I could not get the usual fried onions on my home fries as she said they didn't have that today and they were just deep fried. So that was different because the last time I ate their I had proper home fries with onions. My toast was burnt as well My husband had the hamburger steak with large orange juice for 20.50. His hamburger came to the table with gravy sitting long enough that it congealed a nice coat on top that was thick enough to be removed with his fork. We saw his food come...

Here is a place where you can eat alone, with family or with friends and be treated as a member of their (the owners and staff) family. Have never had a bad meal there. My Mrs. and I eat there regularly with friends and the staff are always happy to see us. Very few restaurants I have eaten at treat customers in this way. The selection of foods is well balanced, nutritious and delicious. I can't say enough about this eatery except to say if you don't eat there at least once you will have no-one to blame but yourself.

My wife and I dropped in for a quick late breakfast after a meeting. About the cheapest suitable thing on the menu was a toasted Western sandwich, but it came with fries or soup for over $8, plus coffee. So with tax and tip, $25+. The sandwich was generous, though bland. The fries just tasted of cooking oil, and the coffee was ****. The service was friendly and the decor is interesting '50s diner. But we won 't be back.
