Sofa hut, or Canapée hut – this by name is the Hochbichl hut at the Ofterschwanger Horn in the Volksmund. She owes her name to the collective affiliation of the hut economist for sofas. Full of enthusiasm, he organizes more or less new, at least still useable sofas, and transports them to his hut to set them up outdoors in front of the hut. The visit of Hochbichl Hütte in Ofterschwang was one of the highlights of our Allgäu holiday. Great atmosphere, very friendly hospitality, with delicious food at reasonable prices. Especially recommended for families with children. The cottage offers various games and sports facilities from a small playground, fitness mats and a climbing corner to a table tennis table. The increase of Ofterschwang is also relatively good for smaller children. Absolute recommendation!
Very cozy and well located. Friendly cabin guards and very friendly staff. We had the hamburger normal. Both very tasty, with crispy pommes, not as in most cottages stur pommes. Price performance is right, good drinks and small menu as you expect on a rustic cottage. We like to come back from the Kleinwalsertal on board and back. Unquestionable recommendation!
The dear, very polite host has been open for us extra longer. Unfortunately, no drin seat, but this has not disturbed us at all, because we enjoyed our one-pot in a wind-protected and thoughtful manner with musical underpainting.
