Here in Diepolz near Immenstadt there was the Allgäu Mining Museum in my favorite place, which has always been worth a visit since 2002. My family and I have made the beginnings of the museum and in a short time a beautiful complex was created here, which is harmoniously integrated into the village of Diepolz and lies on the south side of the Hauchenberg. From here you will have a magnificent view of the guardians of the Allgäu (the Greens, the Allgäu mountains towards Fischen Oberstdorf and the Ammergau mountains in the east as well as the Appenzeller summit in the west.
