Camping dorf-hofer in Zell-am-Ziller is a beautiful family run camping site. I can honestly say this, as I have camped all over the UK and many places in Europe usually in a Vango Mk 4 or 5. During the last 45 years. This site I...am recommending, is a very friendly camping site. It's very well organised and the owners and staff are always helpful. Its very easy to find, as a great restaurant that does traditional meals as well amazing pizza's.   The campsite has brand new state of art showering and  washing facilities etc. It has good pitches in many cases with grass. A super swimming pool which is covered. The owners take great care in ensuring the place is spotless and super clean. They o...

Since my last review, a few things have changed. The previous manager has left and the resteraunt is now managed again by the Hofers, and they have a new chef. They have an uncanny ability to employ the most amazing chefs and staff, as the...food is outstanding as always, and the bar staff are never still (either serving drinks and food, washing glasses or cleaning the bar area , and are a credit to the resteraunt. 3 of us went to this place in the first 2 nights of our stay. The place is very nice and was a walking distance from our hotel. It serves mostly traditional food, with some uniqe dishes, like the chestnut soup (recommended). The food and...service are very good. Deserts were not as good as the food. The apple strudel has room for improvements (almost no apples), and also the Ice libbe which was OK, but I had much better in other places.

service was very, very nice. super delicious food. the frying was buttery. the burger is definitely recommended. Price-performance ratio simply super. only a little smaller part in the shares and the pommes could have been more cherry. we're coming back. in any case recommend .
