with a group of workmates, we were in the hofgut langau. great location with views of the Rhine from the terrace ( absolutely reserve if you want to sit on dr rhein terrace). because it is a self service you must not very high expectation. as said the foods correspond to a bite rather than what is normally offered in an outing place. priced ok, quality rather in the simplest area. hard points of the trip to the good longau should be the beautiful location.

the hofgut is located directly on the Rhine. an old ferry brought us to the island in the Rhine, from there we are more than an hour through the very beautiful landscape. All the wishes were fulfilled in the restaurant. unfortunately self-service! eating was plentiful and good. the cake was homemade, there was nothing missing, especially since the weather was still super.

the hofgut is very idyllic in the hessian ried and can be reached by bike and by foot (not even with the car). the ambiente is rustic, fitting, and everything very well maintained. the coupler is tasty, the foods fit to the ambiente and the P/L ratio is good. please
