This is a real hidden gem and without exception all our friends we have introduced to this little bar rave about it. It is a lovely small traditional rustic family bar/restaurant, nothing fancy but the food is superb. It is just the sort of place I am always trying to find and rarely do, which makes this place very special. Alfonso, Mari his wife and three daughters run this place and they all take great pride in their work. Se come de bandera. Nada que ver con el nombre. Un bar de la zona con una carta y una cocina que ya quisieran restaurantes llegar a esa calidad en los platos, el servicio y amabilidad que desborda desde que llegas. Éramos seis y pedimos 7 platos para compartir y probar una pequeña parte de los platos que oferta. Todo delicioso. Los postres mejorables. Se merece más puntuación. Recomendable 100%.
This a small Pensionista in a sleepy village near Castril. Packed with charm, this is a little gem. The menu is very typical of this region, but for a true experience of this excellent restaurant, order the day before and the owner will provide any meat he can for the next day, wild boar, sucking pig, deer, trout, etc

We have visited this bar/restaurant many times whilst visiting friends in Fatima. It's the type of rustic/pensionista bar you would drive past if you didn't know about the sensational food on offer inside. The quality belies the price! Exceptional value for money. Definitely worth searching out.
excellent food and excellent personal treatment. was the second time I visited this restaurant and the experience was as good as the first. We take a can of lamb, orchard loin, and banana pie. the covers too.
