Excellent Prime Rib Steaks for all steak lovers!! A Must-go-to place in Perth!!!We had just arrive at the restaurant and immediately we had a table. We were flipping through the menu, deciding on what to order, when a waiter came by. Seeing as we weren't locals (obviously), he immediately gave his recommendations. He strongly recommends the Prime Rib Steaks and that was what we had got. The meal was excellent and we had truly enjoyed it to the fullest and left the restaurant greatly satisfied.Only flaw is that the Merchandise Section was a bit too small. Would recommend expanding it so that tourists like me could get some stuff back. But all in all, great food, great service, fantastic beers...
We always enjoy the Natural Prime Rib with sweet potato fries and salad - scrumptious . This time my Husband had the Mega cut Prime Rib with hickory sauce and hog tail fries and he has not stopped talking about it for days !!! It was tender, juicy and about 3.5cm thick - he was in carnivore's heaven !!!! The wait staff have improved so much recently and are now extremely attentive and friendly - I'm sure all due to the lovely manageress who handles the restaurant like a pro - she's always friendly, fair and works damn hard !Hog's Breath Northbridge is well worth a visit.
the service is slow. I had almost waited for the main course. most of the waiters try to avoid eye contact and pretend they don't look at us when calling. the waiters also forgot the drink I ordered. eating was terrible, steak had no seasoned, salt- and pfeffersequid was covered in the ground with black pepper, could not taste. when the bank paid, the waiter has instructed us to upgrades when we obviously had not to try out any of the employees.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. The food was average the service was a disaster. No understanding of customer needs they are put of touch with how to make customers feel special and attended to. Charged extra for a tiny little mushroom sauce bowl because the first one that was delivered was ridiculously small. Avoid this place
Dont expect an excellent cut of steak here. Its not what they do. What they do is offer a fantastic slow cooked, well prepared steak. You are not paying an arm and a leg for a tiny portion of the best steak you have eaten but you are getting a decent serve of a juicy flavorful meal. Just don't ruin it by getting it well done...
Fantastic restaurant for a quickie meal before heading to a show. We both had the rib eye steak (one with mushroom sauce) with salad and curly fries. The steak was cooked perfectly...medium rare and medium and huge for the price. Also interesting memorabilia from times past on display.
this place was good, but the standards have fallen significantly.Feels like the chefs are only kitchen hands. The steaks are good, but they can not order them in a very rare way because they are cooked for hours. Curly-Fries are so oil-destroyed they are soggy.

We were seated fairly quickly as they were not busy.The steak was not up to the standard of other Hogg's cafes we have been to. The salad was a little on the limp side as it had been prepares many hours ago.Would not go there again.
Ive had basic one the natural steak and It was not so bad. Staffs were friendly and nice and the atmosphere was good. The quality of the beed was normal so it was not a bad choice. Its located nearby CBD area.
