For appetizers, we ordered takoyaki and shishito peppers. I usually opt for tsukemen (dipping ramen), but this time I wanted to sample the broth, so I ordered the miso ramen and got an egg along with corn and butter as add-ons (the ramen doesn’t come with an egg). The broth was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned! The egg was cooked just right, with that wonderful jammy texture. I also appreciated that they offer three bowl sizes, which is a nice touch since the standard single size at most ramen places is often too much for me. I chose the medium size, but I think I'll go for the small next time. The smaller sizes are conveniently located on a divider at the top of the menu. My husba...

One of my favorite ramen shops in VA. I have been going to this place for a while and every time I visit this place, both food and service were consistently great! Parking can be a little tricky, but I usually use the Whole Foods parking lot since theplace is a lot closer. I had Karaage and Takoyaki for appetizers , both dishes were really good! Perfect for sharing with yourfriends. Both shoyu and karamiso tonkotsu ramens were very delicious. Tonkotsu broth was really flavorful and the noodles werecooked perfectly. If you want to make your ramen spicy, you should ask for the chili oil. Definitely enhances spicy level andflavor. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome place to get Dinner, the combo was $20.25 for the Ramen, Seasoned Egg, and a Mini Shiyake. The food came out quickly after ordering and it was hot and fresh. The broth was very flavorful and savory, the Shiyake was great, and they have a small condiment tray with Soy Sauce, Chili Oil, and Chili Flake (I think). Overall, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka definitely exceeded our expectations and we’ve been going very frequently since discovering it!Parking: Parking available on the street (metered), or across the street under the Whole Foods (validated with purchase at Whole Foods)

Beautiful decor. Nice location. They use locally grown veggies, which I haven't seen a lot in Virginia. Well done!! This place is also near Greensboro metro. They have a really efficient set up. Instead of a hostess there's an iPad to log yourselfinto. I haven't been to Japan, so maybe this place is authentic- but I wasn't impressed. There's a spot in DC that's worth theadditional cost and time of using metro to get there. I ate my food and the portion was just right (small bowl), but it's notsomething I'd eat again. I ordered veggie Ramen. It was sweet and milky? Book a table now

I considered giving this place 5 stars for the ramen combos alone. The ramen combos are my favorite thing to order There’s so many levels of customization and variety available from bowl sizes to dish type, flavors like miso or shio to name a few, shiyake (salmon) or chashu, salad or ajitama (egg)Their appetizers are also very delicious and I’ll consider getting a seasonal dish one day since they also have plenty. So thankful to have such a delicious ramen place nearby!

I ordered the regular-sized shoyu and spicy miso ramens. However, I found the regular size to be smaller than what I typically expect from a bowl of ramen. The flavors of both dishes were quite average; I personally prefer Kizuna, which is located across the street. They do offer parking validation, but only if you park in the public garage within the same block. Unfortunately, they do not validate parking for other public garages owned by the same company.

I'm Japanese, and having a Japanese chef here is a big deal! The warm greeting of "Irasshaimase" as you enter is also significant, right? I ordered the Kaki-fry Teishoku, and it was delicious. The pickled cucumber that accompanied the meal was fantastic as well—just perfect. I'm fully satisfied with this restaurant and can't wait to come back again!

I ordered the combo set with ramen and salmon rice, and added extra spring onion and garlic paste. Ramen was good, but the egg was over-cooked, and the garlic paste was pretty weird? Overall, it?s still a nice meal, but just not as perfect as I had inother locations. The service was good. There?s a public parking lot nearby. Book a table now

The most authentic ramen I've had in the DC area, especially with the recipe coming from Chef Yoshi (who has 20+ years cooking in Japan). Great atmosphere and service too.
