If someone’s parents cook like this, I definitely want to be their friend! Home Cooking is a fantastic spot that features a variety of Chinese cuisines, particularly Sichuan and Hunan. The food here is outstanding and offers a wonderful selection. My favorites are the Yipin Red-braised Pork and the Peppery Chicken. Each dish has its own unique appeal. The braised pork is rich and flavorful, while the peppery chicken is spicy and bursting with flavor from the Sichuan chilies. Overall, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and even in the parking lot. I also tried JJ Noodles, but I found this place offers larger portions and more intense flavors.
Today was my first time dining in after ordering out, and the food was great. The tofu dish was my favorite (and my 3 year old's as well)! There is a surprising variety of dishes from all areas of China, which is really nice because you can really pick and choose a bunch of flavors in one meal. I'm a huge fan of spice, and the spicy dishes did not disappoint! If you are looking for a solid Chinese food fix in the area, this is it.
I've dined here several times, and their Chinese food consistently meets my expectations. I particularly enjoy their spicy Sichuan dishes. Their dim sum selection includes my favorite item, glutinous rice siu mai, which is a rare find since most dim sum elsewhere tends to feature the Hong Kong-style siu mai with shrimp or pork. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
We had a fantastic first visit! The atmosphere was cozy and not too noisy, with plenty of parking available. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We tried the honey walnut shrimp and vegetable chow mein, both of which were delicious. We will definitely be returning soon; this has become our go-to Chinese restaurant!

Pepper chicken... something went terribly wrong since the last few times we ate this. Totally different. It's like a Panda Express version of what we ate previously twice before. Why would you change it? Now there's no point in going back since the area has so many to choose from. No thanks.
I haven't left a good review for awhile... stumbled upon this mom and pops restaurant and food was delicious. From service to food presentation, everything was so good. Food was not salty and full of flavor. If you want authentic Chinese food, I highly recommend coming here.
Finally we got to buy to go here and it didn't disappoint us. Food was great. Tasty yet not salty. Good proportion. Not overpriced. Friendly staff. Overall 5
