Unfortunately, the empanadas were overly greasy and left a terrible aftertaste, dominated by the flavor of reused oil. Ordered this on Uber Eats and hate to say it but it was gross. The salsa is like tomato juice water/mush with giant chunks of onions. The birria tacos were super bland. The tortilla chips were just awful. They almost tasted like chemicals. The sauces— green sauce, red sauce, and their “guacamole” were all just not good. I honestly could have made better food myself. The food at Homemade Taqueria was excellent! We enjoyed the chorizo nachos, chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and an avocado sandwich. I don’t remember exactly what my friend ordered, but everything tasted amazing. The enchiladas were quite spicy, so if you’re sensitive to heat, you might want to skip them.

Love this place. Until I found a a LITERAL coin in my guacamole sauce. Poured it on my tacos and ate it until I noticed the dirty nickel in the sauce container.
