Due to a power outage at my house, I decided to try John's restaurant in Falconer for the first time. I brought three of my four children along with me, as they had a buffet option that I thought would cater to all of their preferences. We arrived at the restaurant after seven, only to be informed by an elderly lady at the door that the buffet was closed and we would have to order from the menu instead. She seemed frustrated with the situation and mentioned that the manager had closed it early for some reason. First time to enjoy the wings at Honesty John's. My inlaws eat here on a regular basis with the waitress recognizing them. We had the buffet with included the pizza, Buffalo wings, pasta, etc., and a separate salad bar. The pizza had nice flavor and there were two different type crusts. The thicker crust had a bit more crunch and was my favorite. The wings were the real star. Not all hot wings are cooked with respect. These were crispy yet not over done and had a balanced sauce with a medium heat. There were several other dishes, a pasta, a rice, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, also on the buffet. Not a good pizza. Maybe. I get used to the pizza in Buffalo, but that was pretty bad! Asked for light sauce and there were NO sauce, pineapple on half and they were not rugged, but a swan of tiny bits, hardly there. Asked for double cheese and again there was hardly a cheese let alone twice! We were too far away or I would have brought it back. Definitely not a good pizza.
Ordered the deal and was pleased with the amount we received for our purchase just confused why the sauce tasted the way it did. I feel flavor of sauce is old, bad, open to long. But was hoping for a real taste difference it tasted not so good

The buffet was ok. Only 1 waitress getting orders an answering phone cashing out take out orders. She couldn't focus on people in the restaurant. Rating would be better if more than 1 employee running the dining room
Too expensive when you go to pizza express and better quality for much cheaper. 80.90 for a big pizza and 50 wings on honest johns what means when they charge a $1 a wing means your pay 30 dollars for a big pizza
This is a very cute place to eat. If you like pizza, then you'll love it. The price was amazing. We came for the buffet, and there were great choices to choose from.
Good pizza for the price. The buffet is a nice little if you can't decide about a certain pizza. With a salad bar and dessert options, good choice for a fast meal.
