Honestly, I hate to do this, I never leave bad reviews! But this needs to be done. I have ordered the gluten free green bean chicken here several times (the owner has taken my order). It 's pretty good food for the lunch price. The last three times I 've called, I 've spoken with a particular employee who has once told me they dont offer gluten free dishes, and then today, told me they dont have the particular dish I 've successfully ordered four different times available in gluten free .It seems like they just don 't want to take the time to make it. It is frustrating because I work right by this place and it 's the most convenient location for me to eat lunch. I 'd also like to support the...

I had high hopes after reading great reviews! We got Pork fried rice and chicken lo mein. The chicken in the chicken lo mein was so odd. It has a like slimy coating on it like it was breaded and soaked in the lo mein juices. I couldn't even eat it because it disgusted me so bad so I had just the noodles for dinner. It was also very bland. My husband said the pork fried riced sucked and had absolutely no flavor to it at all. I don't know if it is because it was on the American Chinese menu that it lacked flavor but we still like flavor just maybe not the heat of authentic Chinese. I was very unimpressed and honestly don't even want to give them another shot on something that would have flavor...

Took my family for Dinner at Hong Kong. Didn't know they moved to a new location on Kalamazoo across from my old Elementary School, Allen Street School. It's part of a collective kitchen now. Not sure how long they've been in this location, but the service was EXCELLENT the food was AMAZING! Probably the best quality Chinese food I've had in a while. The Lo Mein is worth every cent, the orange chicken is perfectly crispy. Everything felt hand made (even the noodles). They have a small dining area, but they made accommodated all seven of us (maybe we were lucky). Ordered things both family style and personal and never had to ask for small plates and sauces. They know how to run a restaurant....

This is my first time. I stopped by their location at the Allen St., Food co-op. The food was incredible. I chose Biang Biang Noodles w/ pork. I freaking loved it, and I will be back with friends! Nu was super hospitable and friendly during my visit. She even sat down and explained the origin of my dish. If you’re looking for some authentic Chinese food, definitely a must try!
